Recall Alert – Adventure Playsets
Adventure Playsets of Amarillo, Texas is voluntarily recalling several models of its wooden play sets/swing sets. The plastic-coated wooden monkey bar ladder that runs overhead of the swings can rot, creating a fall hazard. Sixteen children have been hurt — most when the swing came loose from the monkey bars while in use — and the company has received 1400 complaints of rotting wood.
Consumers should stop using the play sets immediately and contact Adventure Playsets for replacement parts.
The models being recalled were sold between January 2004 and December 2007 at Walmart, Toys R Us, Academy Sports, Menards, and Mill stores nationwide, as well as online retailers Walmart.com, ToyRUs.com, Willygoat.com. They were also sold through the DMSI catalog.

Durango 1-AP016 and 1- AP018
