Don’t be frontin’ son — no seeds on the bun.”   It’s not the funniest thing you’ll see on YouTube, but it’s amusing and the McDonald’s employees have a  sense of humor about it.

It isn’t clear in what city this rapping McDonald’s video took place, but it probably wasn’t American Fork, Utah.  At a McDonald’s there, four  teens tried get hip-hop with their order at the Mickey D’s drive-through and not only did they not get a laugh, they got in trouble.

After four 17-year-old boys and an 18-year-old friend rapped their their order like the guys in the video, this Utah McDonald’s employee asked them to speak it instead.  Whey they rapped it again, the manager came out and told them they were acting like children and to speak normally or leave.  They left, probably laughing as they went.

But the joke was over when the police stopped them and gave them a ticket for disorderly conduct.  The McDonald’s manager, who had copied down their license plate, says he called the cops because the boys initially refused to leave and they used profanity.  The boys admit to using the “F” word but insist they weren’t  threatening anyone.

The offense of disorderly conduct is a misdemeanor and the kids aren’t facing any jail time.  But at least one of the boy’s parents plans to dispute the citation, pointing out that getting a ticket for being silly is “over the top.”

I agree- its crazy to cite kids for being silly when officers should be protecting the public from actual crime.

Wait, now I’ve seen plenty of McDonald’s commercials with happy, dancing, singing black folks and thought it was silly. You’re telling me those very folks showed up at the drive through and got run off?
