manuel vega 300x225 Dad Attempts Murder of Man Who Fondled SonEver said “I’d kill someone who laid a hand on my kid?” A Florida dad has been charged with trying to.

Manuel Vega’s three-year-old told himLuke Petruschke had touched him sexually during a visit to Petruschke’s home. Now police say Vega and a friend went back to Petruschke’s house, forced their way in and beat him up.

Petruschke’s now facing charges for lewd and lascivious molestation but according to CBS4, he’s doing it from intensive care at a Florida hospital. Meanwhile Vega and his friend, Krish Carter, have been charged with attempted murder.

So a three-year-old is left to face the aftermath of abuse without his dad. Who really got justice here?

Do you feel for this father or think he should face the full extent of the law for his vigilantism?

I feel for the kid but I really do not blame the dad. I am sure he felt the same way other fathers have felt when something similar happened to their kids, the difference is that this dad got caught up in his anger and acted before he could think about it.

Bravo, Papa…I hope he gets off. I bet he will.

Don’t blame dad one bit. But i think he would be more effective in his son’s healing if he remained at home and not in jail.

Don’t blame the dad, at all.

If only I could serve on his jury.

Good for you Dad!!! Maybe a little vigilante justice is just what the child molesters need to discourage them from touching our children. In my opinion our society has gotten a little too touchy-feely. Double entendre intended.

Go Dad!

I have to say that I can’t guarantee I wouldn’t be driven to the same actions. I know I certainly had some very lucid dreams of physical retribution to the step-parent who emotionally abused my child. Had that abuse crossed the line to physical, I don’t know that I would be able to stop those dreams from becoming a reality.

I hope they give the Dad a key to the city! Child molesters are vile, evil people who deserve NO rights. I say this as someone who has had every one of my four sisters molested or raped by a child molester at some point in their lives. I wish that we could still draw and quarter as a capitol punishment…

The father should have been a little more “discrete”. He shouldn’t have told anyone about it and should have done the “job’ himself, just more thoroughly… No motive, no connection to the retribution. IMHO

were it my kid, it would have been long, drawn out, and painful but it would not have been attempted.

As a step father two beautiful step daughters…. Mr Manuel Vega’s plight is one that I support 100% I have to outmost respect and support for this Father. If the Justice system failed me in this respect then, as a father, my duty would be to right the wrong that was done to my family.
