Whether you’re dressing up for trick-or-treating with your kids or a more grown up night on the town,  ABC Action News reports that the top five Halloween costumes for grown-ups are:

  • Jon and Kate Gosselin
  • Michael Jackson
  • Transformers:  Optimus Prime, Bumblebee, or Megatron
  • Harry Potter (and all related)
  • Anything political:  Barack Obama or Sarah Palin, for instance

These high profile costumes are easy to find or create and great for a laugh, but if you want to win Best Costume or Most Original, you’re going to have to be a little more creative.  You could always improve on this Octomom costume or go for Barbie in a box.

And if you’re dressing for two, don’t forget to check out Jen’s 10 Halloween costumes for pregnant women.

Do you dress up for Halloween?  If so, what’s your best costume idea?
