hitting the bottle 300x134 School Bans Parents Boozing at Pick UpFor every time you’ve been tempted to pack a forty-ounce for your trip to the zoo that is afternoon pick up at your kid’s school, here’s a story to make you feel better:

A school in England has been forced to ban alcohol consumption outside the school because parents were regularly showing up with a bottle of booze at pick up.

See, you’ve been tempted. They’ve actually been doing it. School officials said it was making it hard to teach the kids NOT to drink when there was a cocktail party on campus every day.

The police will have the power to confiscate the liquor and impose a fine of up to 500 pounds ($792). If your child has to pick you up from their principal’s office, you’ll know you’re in trouble.
