neocateinfant lcp revised 247x300 Recall: Neocate Infant Formula RecallNutricia North America Inc., based in Rockville Maryland, has recalled one of their lots of Neocate Infant Formula. Why is it being recalled?

Because it lacked the amount of protein that it touted on their label. And if babies, over the long term, don’t get enough protein it could affect the growth in some infants. Yup, that protein is way important.

But the good thing is, it was just one lot and they caught it pretty quickly. The 14-ounce cans that are being recalled have the lot number P91877 and was distributed to stores between September 1st and September 11th.
