Boy Brings Cocaine To Day Care, Girl Eats It

white lines 150x150 Boy Brings Cocaine To Day Care, Girl Eats ItA 4-year-old girl ate a bag of cocaine after a fellow student gave it to her. He thought it was candy.

Why? Because that’s what his dad told him after he shoved the illegal drugs in his son’s pocket.

Shaheed Wright was afraid that the police were going to catch him with bags of cocaine. He shoved baggies filled with white powder into his son’s pockets, told him it was candy, and dropped the kid off at day care.

The boy did what he thought was a nice thing. He shared the candy with his friends. According to the Newark Star Ledger, a teacher at the Clinton Avenue Daycare Center in New Jersey saw a 4-year-old girl “had something odd in her mouth,” realized what it was and called an ambulance. Two other children, 4-year-old boys, were suspected of eating the coke and taken to the hospital; everyone was fine according to the report.

Wright, the dope-dealing dad, has been arrested and charged with “endangering the welfare of a child, possession of a controlled substance with intent to distribute” and “employing a juvenile in a narcotics scheme.” His statement was “I apologize deeply.” Well, thanks for that.

Some advice for Wright — listen to Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five. Don’t do it.

Amazingly, this is not the same dad who lost his son while buying drugs. What are the odds of two of these stories in the span of a few days? Probably pretty good, unfortunately.
