Pay a Visit To Harry Potterville – VIDEO
New details are finally emerging about the much anticipated and long awaited Harry Potter theme park. Universal Studios will be opening the The Wizarding World of Harry Potter in their Orlando resort next spring in 2010.
This ode to J.K. Rowling work will include a Hogwarts Express train, an owlery, oodles of shops from the village of Hogsmeade that will sell chocolate frogs and extendable ears, eateries selling Butterbeer and pumpkin juice and of course an epically executed Hogwarts. Rowling has been involved in the planning of the park and it presumably has her blessing (and perhaps a special spell or two)…
Rides will include a high-speed rollar coaster based on the Twiwizard Tournament and a family friendly called the Flight of the Hippogriff. Inside the Hogwarts School will be “a thrilling new state-of-the-art attraction that uses entirely new technology to bring the magic, characters and stories of Harry Potter to life in ways never before experienced.”
