Worst Dressed American? TLC Wants You!
Some moms can use a little help. Some need lots. With the challenges of raising kids, taking care of oneself and one’s appearance is so not a priority. Doing errands, going out to lunch and attending playdates with messy and mussed hair, spit-up stained t-shirts, and the dreaded “mom jeans” is a reality for countless caregivers. Well if you or someone you love or just like needs a fashion intervention, TLC’s What Not to Wear is here to help.
First I should divulge the fact that I totally watch this show. Yes, it is cruel how Stacy and Clinton dissect their victims dress sense with many a participant ending up in tears. And yes, I don’t always agree with the choices they make for their wards. But the subjects always, and I mean always, end up looking better after their transformation. And they feel better, more confident and have a new $5,000 wardrobe complete with a new do and makeup.
Now TLC and What Not to Wear is casting for their very special 250th episode. They are in the midst of doing a national search for The Worst Dressed American” (sorry, boys…this is for women only). Yes, not many of your friends or family will be thrilled with you deeming them “the worst dressed American”, but trust me…they’ll thank you later.
To apply for the show on you or your friend or family members behalf, just go here.
