Sneak Peek: The Smurfs – The Movie
Kids of the 80s –be warned. Your youth is being repackaged, reformed and resold and will be marketed to your own children. With new fangled versions of classics like Scooby Doo, MTV’s upcoming Teen Wolf series and now to add to the nostalgia is a new animated film featuring everyone’s favorite blue pals – The Smurfs. A sneak peek of the new Smurf look and feel was disseminated via an ad for the upcoming release- which won’t be out until December 2010.
The big change? The CGI version on the teaser ad gives a 3-D look and feel, but if you had the little Smurf dolls then it just looks like a surprised pic of one of your figures.
