Special Preview of Where the Wild Things Are with the Film’s Creators
Are you a fan of Dave Eggers, Spike Jones, Catherine Keener or the kid classic Where the Wild Things Are? Or maybe you just like nay love each and every one of them? Or perhaps you just want to hang out with the cool kids?
If you happen to be in sun drenched Los Angeles around October 1st, you can bask in the glory of all those peeps and their awesomeness as well as see a very special preview screening of the much-anticipated film Where the Wild Things Are, the upcoming movie they are all part of. After the showing of the film, there will be a question and answer session with the creators of the film as well as Max Records who stars as the Max of the book. And it ain’t Hollywood if there ain’t an after party so 826LA and their sponsors will be having a VIP after party.
If you aren’t hip to the magic of the Dave Eggers’ 826 empire, in a nutshell , “826LA is a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting students ages 6 to 18 with their creative and expository writing skills, and to helping teachers inspire their students to write.” Oh and 826LA features a ‘time travel’ supply store as well. ‘Natch.
