Swim With the Whales and Don’t Get Wet
What kid wouldn’t want to get eye-to-eye with a whale? How about eye-to-blow-hole?
Thanks to the Whale and Dolphin Conservation Society, any kid in America (or anywhere else for that matter) can. And don’t worry, Mom and Dad, they’ll walk out of the whole deal completely dry.
The society has set up a Website, complete with a whale sounds soundtrack, that lets you zoom in on an body part for a whale while it “swims” along. The picture-in-picture set up lets your kids see what part of the body they’re up close and personal with (because it’s hard to tell WHAT something is when you’re that close and it’s THAT big).
The international charity works to protect whales, dolphins and porpoises – and you can check out their site for conservation-based issues to share with your kids. But chances are, they’re going to be begging to go back for another swim.
When they’re ready to come up for air, take them on another animal adventure here.
