Mom Poisoned Her Breastmilk To Get Dad’s Attention
Oregon mom Sarah Rose Dillard-Lubin is accused of adding morphine to her breastmilk after she pumped and then feeding it to her 2-month-old daughter. Why? To get the father to pay more attention to them.
She was already on probation from giving her 10-month-old son opiate pills while she lived in California, according to MSNBC. Again, she was trying to get dad to pay attention. This was a different dad, though.
The only good news here, and it’s very good news, is that both children survived. But… wow. So sad.

PlumbLucky commented on Aug 14 09 at 3:10 pmDoes this sound like a case of Muchausen (sp) by proxy to anyone else? Harm the child deliberately in order to draw attention to yourself(Mom)?
Even if it isn’t – the woman sounds like a first rate nutjob.

Ali commented on Aug 15 09 at 1:10 amHow did she manage to score the Class II pharmaceuticals? Is she a nurse or pharmacist? It is hard to buy morphine and opiates on the street.
