mommy doesnt drink here anymore Rachael Brownell on Babble Talk RadioMy guest this week on Babble Talk Radio is none other than Rachael Brownell, author of the new book “Mommy Doesn’t Drink Here Anymore.”

Be sure to tune in on Friday at 12:30pm. Details after the jump.

Rachael will discuss her new book, “Mommy Doesn’t Drink Here Anymore: Getting Through the First Year of Sobriety” from Conari Press. Rebecca Woolf, author of “Rockabye: From Wild to Child” says that the book “is the story of every woman, a redemptive coming of age memoir as challenging as it is healing; a support group in prose. A triumph of a memoir for all women enduring.” You can read more about the book in Madeline Holler’s Babble Essay right here.

We discussed the book with Mike Adamick on Wednesday’s Morning News Live, and commenter Mistress Scorpio won a copy of her very own by playing our new game “How Out of Touch Are We?” (You should receive your copy shortly, Mistress, and thanks for playing.)

Also on the show — our favorite comments from Babble’s blogs, and your calls!

You know the drill. Visit the show page at BlogTalkRadio.com tomorrow, Friday August 14 at 12:30pm EST. Call in, interact with us through the chat room, and be nice to people. Well, that last one has nothing to do with the show. But it’s a good idea.
