Advance warning for the shameless plug here, but a recent Bad Parent essay caught the attention of the folks at ABC News Now – and I hit Manhattan with my four-year-old in tow to tape an episode of Moms Get Real.
Hosted by ABC News correspondent and mother of three JuJu Chang, the show is a spin off of Chang’s blog, JuJu Juggles, chock full of cute kid photos, tips and video.
The trip was a blast for my daughter – who had never ridden a train before but rode six in one day (including four underground) – and she didn’t make a peep during filming, despite being IN the room for much of the on-air time (we brought coloring books, her favorite Eric Carle caterpillar and Chang’s assistant played hide and seek with her).
