infphoto 1019063 full 300x300 UPDATE: Jon Gosselin Starting a Kid’s Clothing Line? Really? I guess having eight kids must give you some kind of insight into the children’s clothing business but just because you’ve changed a lot of shirts, undies and onesies, doesn’t qualify you dress kids professionally.  According to TMZ, Jon Gosselin of Jon and Kate Plus Eight fame may be starting a children’s clothing line with designer Christian Audigier – best known as the man behind the Ed Hardy line.

Over the weekend while estranged wife Kate Gosselin was looking after their eight kids in at their suburban spread in Pennsylvania, Jon was gallivanting in St. Tropez with his brand new girlfriend, the 22-year-old Hailey Glassman, who just happens to be the daughter of the surgeon who performed Kate’s free tummy tuck.  Ain’t love grand.

The children’s line will undoubtedly be cheaper than the Ed Hardy collection which features kids T-shirts that sell for about $75 buck. This line may be carried at mass outlets like Kmart. And you can’t just have Jon shilling the clothes without his offspring, that would be so not sellable. There is talk that the eight Gosselin kids will be the models for the clothing.

Do you think Kate will go for that?

UPDATE: USWeekly is reporting that:
“Christian is absolutely not starting a kids’ clothing line with Jon,” a rep for Audigier tells the magazine. “As of right now, there is no clothing line in the works between them at all.”

So for all of you who were ready to dress your kids in some Jon Gosselin style…looks like you’ll have to wait.

Look at his shirt and those fem sunglasses. Are those rhinestones? If you ask me trading that doofus in for a free tummy tuck was a sweet deal for Kate!
