Build-A-Bears Found Stuffed With Heroin

12753l Build A Bears Found Stuffed With HeroinWhen you go to a Build-a-Bear workshop, you get the opportunity to stuff a bear-to-be with oodles of fluff …as well as a cute little red heart. A dozen people in the Bronx had another idea of what to use to fill out the bear bodies . Their choice of stuffing? Heroin.

A recent drug bust by the New York office of the Drug Enforcement Agency netted about 30 million dollars worth of heroin stuffed into a bevy of Build-a-Bear toys. The drugs inside were stamped with the “brand names” ripped from the headlines such as Barack Obama, Swine Flu, and Crime 360.

So if you find a stray Build-a-Bear and you were not the one doing the stuffin’ just make sure it is in fact a bear not a drug mule.

To be fair, heroin is VERY soft and cuddly.
Bad joke. Not funny.
