Two Great Kids’ Albums Available for Cheap
On the lookout for high quality kid’s music? Or are you a sucker for a bargain? Then you are in luck, my friends. Today (June 13) only, Dan Zanes’ Grammy winning (and thoroughly wonderful) album Catch That Train is available for download on Amazon for only $1.99, and this coming week, a live version of the Barenaked Ladies’ album Snacktime is available on AmieStreet.com for only $5, which will benefit the Boys and Girls Clubs in New York City.
I have Catch That Train, and cannot say enough good things about it or Dan Zanes in general.
I’ve seen him live twice and both times it was just wonderful and fun and happy, and the album just captures that joy in music that you get from the shows. As far as SnackTime, I have the studio version and while the live version has a lot of Christmas music in it, some of the songs are the same and I really enjoy the album. And I have seen Barenaked Ladies at a “grownup” show and they are really witty, fun, and catchy.
So for less than $7 you can enjoy two wonderful albums’ worth of kids music that you will enjoy too, and even benefit a good cause as well. Get a move on, and then you and your kids get your groove on!

I made a mixtape of all my favorite seasame street songs which you can download for free on my blog popnbottles.com . It’s kid tested and father approved! Enjoy.http://popnbottles.wordpress.com/2009/06/02/sesames-treat-mixtape/
