New Anchor Sheds Blood on Live TV – It’s the Sons Fault

Posted by sunnychanel on June 4th, 2009 at 6:03 pm

Live TV offers real-time transmissions of the sporting events, news, talk shows that flood our airwaves. We see the sweat, the tears and occasionally the blood. But a news anchor spontaneously bleeding during a live newscast? You don’t see that every day. Gary Radnich, the sports anchor for my local KRON in San Francisco, started to bleed shortly after covered a recent Giants game. How did he get injured to the point of bleeding? Apparently Gary was wrestling with his son who “ripped his ear” during the melee. “It’s so embarrassing when a little boy rips your ear and it starts bleeding,” he stated. One of his co-anchors replied that “you should put the machetes away when your playing.” Good advice.

Has your child done you bodily harm when rough housing? I’m the victim of a broken nose myself.
