My desk TOTALLY looks like this. RIGHT. (photocourtesy of Decor8 Blog)

I recently moved my office from one end of the couch in the living room to the spare room upstairs. It’s been a tremendous improvement; I can listen to music up here, I have two windows so I get a ton of light, and the slightly rickety table I use as my desk is a pretty color and has enough room for my daughter to sit with me and draw while I work.

I’m lucky, though – a lot of bloggers I chat with have to use any small space they can get their hands on. So today I tossed out a challenge to some of my favorite bloggers and asked them to send me a picture of their desks, right that second, no cleaning allowed. I think you’ll enjoy the results! And, yes, my desk is in there too.

Enjoy! I’ve got everyone from Jenny The Bloggess to Rita from Surrender Dorothy to Stefania of City Mama. Prepare to feast your eyes!

Amy's desk is pretty and looks fairly organized, right? My favorite details are the diet soda cans and the pen bin.

I should really work on my working space, huh? I mean, compared to others mine looks very uninspiring. Does it help that I have two offices – one home and one at our office building? Yeah, didn’t think so.

Not to get off the subject of desks, but I love the rug above and Heather’s rug. Otherwise, thanks for the peek into real life bloggers!

I loved this! And I’m feeling so much better about my work station. Mid way through I was all: who in the hell uses two computers?! Yeah, I do too. Only took me 6 pictures to figure that out.

Thank you! What a fun peek!

ha! loooove seeing everyone’s workspace – we (well, clearly not all of us) need Extreme Makeover – Mom Blogger Edition!

None of those are messy. MY desk is messy. I just blogged it for Wordless Wednesday. ;-)

Those are all fabulous. And I had no idea there’s such a two computer trend out there – I’ve clearly fallen behind!

I love this post. It’s great to see the work space of my fellow bloggers. My desk is very neat and organized because I NEVER use it. I usually sit on the floor or on my couch with laptop in hand burning the midnight oil.

I really need a desk. Or at least a fancier counter top.

my space roams, it depends on the time of deay – the kitchen counter, the diningroom table, or like now – in bed! but i do see from the recurring theme that i might need another computer. the cool bloggers have 2. ;)

Funny, I totally used Pinterest to redesign my office last summer. It’s not always neat but I really thought through what I wanted, fun and practical – since I am working from home now.

Love all the photos!

I am in the process of moving from an alcove on the 1st floor to the spare room — let you know how it goes — designing now and moving next week. giving my alcove to tween boys to use for homework and computer work.

This is so reassuring to me. I’m glad I’m not the only one with odd objects and piles. :)

I think my desk probably beats you all since you can write your name in the dust on the CPU and accessories and the kids play on it and neither my husband myself or my kids can get up and walk 10 feet to the trash can… {Just an FYI – the cats in “Jenny the Bloggess” are cleaning. They are very good about getting into those tight spots and getting the dust off of cords. Just don’t spray them with Pledge first – they will never forgive you.}

great post idea!!

Oh my goodness! My husband always makes fun of me when I have two (or worse, two and a tablet) computers going at the same time. Glad it’s not just me!
