Need A Fun Avatar Photo?

So if you look carefully at that photo of Times Square, you’ll spot my family. That’s my husband up there chomping on a cigar, my daughter in a hat trying to catch rain drops, and my pink haired noggin on the right. It’s cool, right? I needed a big, fun photo to use as my cover photo on Facebook Timeline, and this was perfection.
Turns out you can make a lot of cool photos like this very simply and easily with the awesome website Photofunia. You select the image you want, upload your photos, and BAM. The site does this. Some of the options work better than others, but you can easily get a great shot. One small tip: even though the middle size option is recommended for the web, I would still choose the highest resolution image – it looks much better.
Of course Photofunia isn’t the only option.
Look! I’m on a magazine thanks to Write On It.
If you feel like hanging out in MySpace circa 2002, you definitely want to check out blingee. My word. The silly.
Then for something different, you can try PhotoFaceFun.

For pretty much everything else, try Big Huge Labs.
Of course, just for fun for the upcoming holiday… zombie Cecily.

Everyone knows that zombies prefer international energy drinks.
Go, be silly, have fun with photos. If you come up with a good one, post a comment linking to it! I’d love to see.

On a similar note, last week PetaPixel demo’d some new software which flawlessly inserts Artificial Objects into Photographs. Still in devpt & a tad techie but A-MAZING!
Best to you,
Angela
