Unconditional Love & 10 More Things Being a Mom Has Given Me

being a mom Unconditional Love & 10 More Things Being a Mom Has Given MeWhen I became a mom I knew my life was going to change in a big way. I was ready for it and looked forward to what it was going to bring. 6 years into this whole “Mommy” thing and I could not have even predicted all the awesome it would bring me.

Being a mom is a role I am glad to have and it has taught me some pretty valuable lessons. I have learned a lot about the world and myself as I watch and nurture these three beautiful kids. It has made me grow as individually and as a partner. One thing is for sure though — some changes you can’t really be prepared for unless you are smacked right in the face with it. It’s not all rainbows and butterflies, but it is all worth it!

i lost my gross factor long before I became a mother. My mom is a nurse and the things she would tell us when she would come home about her patients while we would eat dinner, you would not believe!

@deborah, Ditto on that, my mom is also a nurse, I lost the gross out ability in my child hood.

I have 2 boys under the age of 3 and a puppy…so I totally get these…especially the clean one. I tell people when they come over that my floor is clean you just can’t see it because it’s burried underneath all the toys :D
