There are no words on Earth adequate enough to describe what it’s like to see your babies play with each other and as the littler one has gotten bigger nothing is more spectacular than watching the big one make the little one fall over in fits of hearty giggles.

2011 also included her first concert, her first full day of school, her first loose and lost tooth and her first appearance in a wedding.

She started the year still looking like my little girl, and ended it looking far bigger and way closer to the grown up she’s going to become.

Here’s Addie’s year in 12 photos.

Since we moved to Indiana I've tried to take a photo of her on New Year's Day, my first view of her in the new year. This was 2011.
