I’m totally fascinated with Hiho Batik Handmade. At first glance I thought these colorful tees and tanks were screen-printed. But I read further and found out they are actually each individually made using the ancient art of batik — and no two are identical. So cool!!
What’s batik? It’s an art process that uses wax and dyes to create an image. I adore the look. And it’s perfect for the of-the-moment tribal pattern trend.
The prices are high for a kid’s tee, but if I remember that each one is handmade, the price doesn’t seem so pricey. And hey, they’re even worn by the Obama girls. See a closer shot after the jump. Continue reading »

Great news! One of the most stylish lines of children’s clothing out there, Tea Collection, just revealed their fall collection preview. It’s beautiful. Tea Collection takes inspiration for their collections from countries all over the world. This one is inspired by the folk traditions of Old World Hungary and I think it might be their most charming yet.
