It’s that time of year when thoughts of cute campers start dancing in my head. This year’s quest took me through the pages of Pinterest where my search for the cutest campers ever began. From some darling bolers to something called a Cricket – here are 12 of the cutest campers I could find online. Click below to see.
In my search for a weekend camper I came across these roof-top versions from Tepui Tents that are really starting to grow on me. Since we can’t afford a camper yet, and although tents are pretty reasonable, these roof-top versions kind of meet half way –giving the illusion of a camper yet still a budget-friendly tent (basic tent starts under a $1,000.). Easily mounting directly to your roof rack, the tent pops open with a retractable ladder and a wrap-around change room which can be added to the bottom (as an option). Hack it onto the back of a hauling trailer (like above that one of their customers did) –adding a built-in kitchen or just go as it is. I like that you don’t need a lot of muscle to set it up, making it easy for women to do too. Also a great idea for those who take back roads, as there’s nothing to haul in the back. I’ve always stayed away from doing any sort of electrical DIY, but some of these IKEA hacks I’ve come across as of late are maybe going to change that. With Father’s Day just a couple weeks away, here’s a few budget-friendly ideas from Forever 21.
Decoupage has to be one of my favorite ways to freshen up an old piece of furniture or home accessory. Using favorite images or fabrics, something drab can turn into something fab in a matter of an afternoon. Don’t know how it works, or forgotten how like me? Earlier this spring, Craftsy, the online social crafting site which offers up online video classes, workshops and projects (for sewing, knitting, quilting, etc) launched a pattern section, a free place for indie designers to sell their patterns. And in that section there are about 20 free patterns under each category ranging from crocheting to sewing. Kind of a cool idea to pull makers in and to give back at the same time.
