For those of you in Northern climates, don’t fret! Spring is almost here. Yesterday, I noticed snowdrops peering up in the garden. Here are some flowers you can plant right now! These flowers aren’t afraid of a little frost and most are blooming right now, too. Anything you’d add to the list?

Hellebores
Hellebores are always the first sign of spring! This green variety is lovely and unusual. Plant them now for spring color!

What about crocus? early-blooming rhododendron and azalea are blooming now, too. Forsythia and currants are blooming, too (bonus: many native varieties of currant, with beautiful deep pink or bright yellow flowers). Stocks are also a cool season flower.
