The Coziest Boots for Baby
It’s so cold here that getting ready to go outside takes some serious preparation. Long johns, scarves, mittens, puffy coats, plus hats that wrap around chins and ears. And boots, of course.
Baby June has been sporting a pair of these chocolate brown Sheepdawgs since December and I’ve decided they’re my favorite baby boots ever. They’re super easy to pull on and off (this is key!), toasty warm, and they’re made of microfibre — so they’re super simple to clean. Plus, she looks adorable toddling around with the little puff balls bouncing. : )
How do you handle winter shoes for your babies and toddlers? Do you have a favorite pair? Or do you just stay indoors as much as possible?

Aliesha commented on Feb 10 12 at 9:27 amMy favorite boots for my 1-year-old daughter are these adorable Uggs I got her at a yard sale this past summer for…wait for it…$1. I couldnt believe the deal, and they had obviously NEVER been worn. So fun. The biggest problem with them is that I constantly feel compelled to tell EVERYONE who comments, “Wow, those boots are so cute…” or “Wow, are those real Uggs?” that YES, they are real Uggs, but I only paid $1 for them, please don’t judge me for buying super expensive boots for my 1-year-old. I even tell strangers about my good deal, lest I be judged. So silly! I just cannot seem to help myself!
Melissa commented on Feb 10 12 at 1:36 pmAdorable but pricey. I have a hard time spending so much on baby boots. We’ve had such a mild winter, I bought my 2-year-old a pair of Timberland boots for under $10.
leslie w. commented on Feb 10 12 at 2:32 pmwe are especially fond of these, for our (not yet walking) baby: http://www.polarnopyretusa.com/index/page/product/product_id/2930/product_name/OUTDOOR+PUFFER+BOOTIES+%28BABY%29
they’re great for the snow, because they’re waterproof, and they’re very easy to put on (and they stay on!).
