Honor Badges
Each of these handmade Honor Badges retail for $14, and $3 of the purchase price will be donated to the Servicemembers Legal Defense network, a non-profit benefitting LGBT members of the armed forces. Here’s what the creator, Oh Meaghan, had to say about the inspiration behind these badges.
The idea for these pieces came to me during the heated discussions and debates regarding the repeal of Don’t Ask, Don’t Tell. It became apparent to me that there were warriors in all facets of my life…in all facets of OUR lives. Whether they’re GLBTQ folk in the military, gender warriors, brave people fighting on the front lines of social injustice, or strong and courageous people fighting through personal battles, we all deserve a badge of honor at some point.
Honor Badges are available from Oh Ginger.
