server High Waisted Mom Jeans Trend: 10 Pairs We Like

“Do these jeans make my butt look big?” Probably. Yes. When I first put on a pair of high-waisted jeans my husband made a sour faceĀ  and since then I’ve had mixed feelings about the high-waisted ‘mom’ jeans trend. Many men would claim they don’t like it, but so many women are loving it, it’s picking up in popularity. I’ll tell you what, they are ridiculously comfy. Do you own a pair? What do you think of this trend? I’ve collected a few pairs of high-waisted jeans that I think I could wear (starting at only $22.80!).

Keep reading to see them all!

I must be old…those just look like normal jeans to me. :) I love them!

These jeans look completely adorable. In all truth, think low-rise jeans are unflattering on EVERY body type. (and most men I know concur…)

Hooray for the low-rise demise!

I just scored a pair of the gap 1969 ones from crossroads and LOVE them! Mine are bootcut though and i really like the 70′s vibe i get from them. I’ve been wearing them to work too with a cute loose cropped top or a nice shirt tucked in !

Better to wear high waisted jeans than to have your butt-crack show.

Who are all these skinny people? Where are the jeans for real people? I no longer have a 24″ waist. Does anyone over the age of 30? Bah Humbug on your photos. :-(

These aren’t “high waisted” – these are how all jeans used to be before hip huggers.

I wish everyone wore “Mom Jeans.” I am so sick of seeing either someones belly or butt every time they bend.

Those Gap Jeans sound awesome. I’ll be looking into them for when I’m out of this maternity wear. :)

I have a pair of higher waisted jeans and I agree, they are so much more comfortable than low rise! My post baby bod does NOT look good AT ALL in low rise, so I am definitely grateful the high rise trend is here!

You must know different men then I do. When I first bough my high waisted jeans( high waist flares at UO) my boyfriend just LOVED them. I got so many compliment from guys you would think I wasn’t wearing any pants at all! My guy said “finally, the way jeans should fit a woman” So now i wear mostly high waist stuff. And people love it. they make your legs look super long.

When they are flat-fronted, they are so much sleeker than a low rise. No muffin top, no underwear showing…they are so much more comfortable and flattering on every age and shape!
