Aren’t they beautiful? And then the child would grow up and do the same thing for their child, and it becomes a cherished part of your family’s birthday celebration. Such a sweet idea. The numbers would be beautiful for an anniversary cake as well.

Lovey commented on Sep 19 11 at 9:05 amThese are gorgeous! We have always celebrated birthdays in the Waldorf/German tradition but the wooden rings and accessories never quite worked with our decor. These would be so beautiful and more substantial. I would work this into a centerpiece on the table along with mementos of the past year for the birthday person.
