After a lot of speculation, the rumors have been confirmed. Nike has produced Marty McFly’s Nike Mag shoes! They’ve only created 1500 pairs, and 150 will be auctioned on eBay every day until September 18, with the proceeds going directly to The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research.

It’s nice to see that the shoes aren’t just being made to turn a quick profit off of collectors and movie nerds. Take a look at the funny trailer below, and listen to a message from Michael J. Fox.

The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson’s Research is the world’s largest private funder of Parkinson’s disease research, with over $250 million in research funded to date. We have one goal: find a cure for Parkinson’s and go out of business.

Check out the shoe at Back4theFuture.com, and bid on them on eBay. It’s for a good cause. And the shoes are awesome.
