See that little penguin? That’s my little guy on Halloween last year, dressed up in a handmade costume. I just didn’t do the hand-making.
I always grew up with handmade costumes, and although there are plenty of adorable store-bought options out there, I’m determined to keep that tradition going in my own family. The only problem? I’m can’t sew for the life of me. Luckily my sister hand-sewed my son’s penguin costume last year, and then I ordered the penguin hat from Etsy. It’s all handmade, just not by me! And the hat was so cute (made by AmiAmigos), that he continued to wear it throughout the winter.
