Boxcycles are Here!
If I told you the honest truth, I would tell you a small part of me wanted to have kids so I could get one of these bikes and ride to the Farmer’s Market with them. “Bakfiets” as they are known by our bike riding friends in Europe are a little harder to come by in the US. I was so excited to discover Boxcycles. They are distributed through several bike stores in the US. I only wonder if these can handle the San Francisco hills? Have you ever ridden one of these?

Nina commented on Jun 20 11 at 6:21 pmYes! They are awesome! I think these are actually Christiania bikes from Denmark that are rebranded for the US market. Love them! Basic but really good. Although with 3 kids and groceries, the uphills take some effort ;-)

Traveling Mama commented on Jun 26 11 at 10:41 amI ride the Trio bike here in Denmark and LOVE it! We ride rain or shine… and even in the snow! I agree that these look like the Christiania bikes and I am very thankful that Copenhagen is flat!!
