Training Dresser for Kids: Hope For Messy Rooms?
With drawers cleverly shaped to match their contents, the Training Dresser might be just the ticket for sparking a child’s interest long enough to put their clothes away.
The Training Dresser is the brainchild of Peter Bristol, a Seattle-based designer with an unusually strong sense of imagination (take a look at his Cut Chair). The dresser comes in two different designs, one for girls and one for boys.
I could definitely see the iconic and puzzle-like drawers capturing the attention of my youngest daughter–she spends hours sorting & stacking random little things around the house. Her clothes, however, are an entirely different matter, randomly shoved and squashed into the corners and crannies of her dresser.
Well-considered and well made, the dresser is handcrafted in Eastern Washington by Mountain View Cabinetry.
