Kids Furniture Inspired by LEGO
Gypsy Modular furniture for kids can be easily assembled and disassembled in seconds, making it ideal for those on the move. Inspired by LEGO, you can mix, match, and rearrange the parts to create new furniture.
Let’s face it, nobody enjoys moving. Frustrated trying to pack furniture into a tiny car every time he moved, designer Clark Davis decided to do something about it. The result is Gypsy Modular, a line of furniture that can be easily assembled without tools. Unlike flat pack furniture from stores like iKEA, however, it can also be disassembled and repacked flat when it’s time to move.
The line of furniture includes chairs, tables, shelves and desks for both kids and adults. You can mix and match the interchangeable parts to create new furniture. For example, chair and cubby sides can be used to create a bench. According to Clark Davis, it’s “like LEGO and iKEA got married.”
Currently a project on Kickstarter, the furniture is priced inexpensively, starting at just $25 for the stool.
