I love the idea of getting back to natural products, but it can be crazy expensive and I find myself having to prioritize a lot. This stroller would take care of one major item, at least!

I am a single mother and currently have no income, I am hoping to get my life together and start college soon. My goals in life are to be happy and to have a stable carrer to support my children.Over the past three years I have develpod an irrational fear about leaving my apartment. I know I can get over this fear and get out there, not only for myself but for my children and for any other person out there that has ever been afraid of anything. If I won a stroller it would make my life so much better. I wouldn’t be as nervous to leave.
There is a purpose for me. I will make a better life for my children than I had. My parents constanly faught growing up when I was 14 years old my mom told my dad that she wanted a divorce, he in turn tied my mom up and threatened to kill her, instead he shot himself in the head. He lived. It was a miricale to say the leastThe bullet did scrape his seribellum and he lost mobility in one arm and lost sight in one eye, became deaf and one ear and was wheelchair bound and was not “himself” he had to live in a nursing home for proper care. Since then I have suffered from depression and many times thought I was not worth anything and i did not deserve to live. I didnt see anyone that I could ever help. I was 17 when my dad got pnumonia and died. I lost it and was sure then that i couldnt go on anymore. exactly three months from the day of his death I found out I was pregnant with my son. I know that he was a gift from above. A sign if you will from my dad that I did have a reason to live, I now see the light in the world. No matter how bad things get they WILL get better.
I may not have much in a low income apartment alone with my two young children, without a job or car. But I have what is most important in life, Hope. I know I will go on to do great things, If I can help just one person know that they are not alone, that they diserve to live and that they too can do anything in life, I will be happy. If I win a stroller it will help me check one more thing off my list that I will be able to overcome ( leaving my apartment)
It would help me be able to go to the store to get food and take my children to their drs. appointments.
Last month my daughter had to be hospitalized for a week for failure to thrive ( 12lbs at 8 months old) I was breastfeeding her and had no idea that she was not getting enough ( she never cried for more, was happy and content) The only reason I knew something was not right was that she wasnt growing, sitting up, crawling and her bones were starting to show. I got on the scale weighed myself and then got back on with my son to see his weight ( 28lbs) wow I thought to myself he is getting so big! I guessed how much I thought my daughter Addie weighed, surely around 16lbs, she looks so tall. I was completely sick to my stomach to see that she weight 11lbs. ( she was 8lbs 11oz at birth) I had missed several drs. appointments due to lack of transportation, I can’t believe that I thought I was doing her good by breastfeeding but in reality I was starving my own daughter. I begged for a ride to the hospital, ER, Urgent Care, Pediatricians office, it didnt matter my daughter needed help ASAP. I got her to her pediatrician and the look on his face was more than a 1,000 words. She was to be admitted immediately. She had lost all her muscles ( that is why she was not meeting her mile stones) she weight LESS than she did at 3 months old ( 8 months when hospitalized) They told me that she was not even on the charts for growth and he wasnt going to sugar coat anything, it was BAD. When we got to the hospital they ran several test to rule out reflux, and digestion problems. She was taking 1oz- 2.5 oz at a time. All test came back normal ( Best possible result) I was so happy that she would be okay and fully recover. When we left a week later she was up to 13lbs, a week later for a weight check at the pediatricians office she weighed 14lbs! Now a month later since I took her in she is 17lbs and starting to crawl, sitting up on her own and drinking 40oz of High Cal preemie formula plus 9 jars of baby food a day. She has blossomed and his laughing and playing, clapping and babbling. Before she would just lay there and not smile. I am beyond thrilled that she is thriving. I don’t like to imagine what would have happened if I had continued to breastfeed ( I was pumping 4-6 oz at a time so I will never know if it was she wasnt getting enough or if my milk did not have enough fat) The main thing is her health. The only thing that gets me is this terrible feeling that its all my fault and if I had gone to her well baby checks I would have known sooner that she was not gaining weight. The pedi sympathized with me sharing her story that the same thing happened with her son and she had to supplement with formula and to this day continues to worry about his weight. I have been taking the bus to her drs appointments ( I carry my daughter and make my son hold my hand)
Sorry for the long response, but this is my answer of why I would love to win a stroller, It would help my children and I tremendously.

Love this stroller! I am very excited about it being more environmentally friendly and love the seat being made out of bamboo! I would love to win this and use for my 10 month old as I continue my weight loss journey. Gained to much during pregnancy. My goal is by September we can start trying again for another baby! He lost his job when our son was a little over 3 months old (he’s about to be 6 months old), he got fired before we ever got a chance to buy one. We are having to walk everywhere in my small town to get even the smallest things. We live in a small texas town so everyhting is nearby but when we walk we are having to carry a 16 lb baby in our arms while making sure our 9 year old is safe. When we walk we have to cross a very busy street while holding the baby, our 9 year olds hand & carrying groceries & diaper bags. We make about 3 trips to Wal-Mart a day just to get he things we need. We are also having to walk a good hour so the kids can go see their grandmother thats in a nursing home (due to stage 4 colorectal cancer & other health problems). Winning this strolelr would be a blessing for us.

I can’t afford it otherwise, 2. our family has become more green than ever over the past year, so if we’re going to get a new stroller, I would rather have an eco-friendly one, 3. we love spending our days outside and it’s finally beginning to get warm enough, and 4. my daughter has used her stroller until it is nearly ready to fall apart and her baby brother is due in July!

These decisions were quite easy to make as a couple and then budget for them. On January 1st we had our first child, Nora Daye. Now we have been thrust into the world of baby items. The stroller realm alone is confusing and most manufactures are not in sync with what is important to us. A few months ago, our family moved overseas for my husband’s government work and it has been quite the adjustment to live in a different country where I don’t speak the language. I love to go on walks & jogs but my current stroller cannot handle the different & uneven terrains, so that presents a problem. Being away from friends and family, I look forward to being outside at the chance of meeting other moms (at least on base). Treatment triggered menopause (Ye gads! Mom, I feel your pain!) and the chances of reversal after treatment were 50/50 at best. Two years later I am cancer free and my beautiful time of the month has returned! (Funny how you see things differently after a journey like that). Engaged, house hunting, and trying for a little one…ahh, life is good. And, in the meantime, I have 3 beautiful new nieces (1 year, 6mo, and 3mo.) to break in the Bumbleride.

I couldn’t fix it so I had to push him home without the wheel. It’s had other problems and I don’t think it’s safe anymore. We love Eco-friendly things. We try to conciously be better about our choices for the environment. We re-use plastic bags at the farmers market, bring cloth bags to the stores, and use cloth diapers for both our kids.

After a long battle trying to conceive, she is right now having her first shot at an IVF treatment that can – and will – result in a beautiful baby soon. She has endured a lot in the past several years, just earned her Ph.D. and invested everything to pay out of pocket for this treatment. I believe she is a winner and a mom already and I am very proud of her.
The thing is: I just heard of Bumbleride this week for the first time. I am a mother of 3 (just had my third, so I am buying a double stroller!) and was debating between getting the BOB or Mountain Buggy for the longest time, but none of them seemed to have it all. I could almost cry when I saw how the Bumbleride has everything that I need, so I made up my mind pretty quickly. I am just waiting for the 2011 collection to be released. ;) Last night I was thinking about getting a Bumbleride for this friend as well and it was a huge coincidence that this morning I saw this link at my Facebook timeline. I would love to win this stroller because like many new mommas I have extra weight! I suffer from fibromyalgia and need something easy to open and close something light enough for me to load and unload and this stroller seems like it would really help a mom like me! Fibromyalgia responds really well to exercise but that is near impossible with a 3 month old so a good stroller is the way to go! Thanks for allowing me to enter ;)!

We are expecting our second boy in a few months and he either rides in his older brother’s ‘previously loved’ stroller (the original Indie), or this new, natural, clean and beautiful Indie. My husband is currently deployed and has missed the birth of our first child. With my two month old daughter, I’ve learned the hard way that running errands on your own can be quite the challenge. Winning this stroller would definitely make my life much easier. Plus, I’d love to whip myself back into shape before my husband’s homecoming by using this as a jogging stroller. We had the Indie Twin for our girls and it allowed us to go on the trails at state and local parks so we could bird watch and introduce our children to nature. Here in south Texas it is pretty flat, but the terrain can be very rocky and the Bumbleride Indie Twin handled these trails beautifully! Now that we have a newborn son I would love to be able to do the same for him. Now the natural edition can take this even farther helping to teach our kids that we share a responsibility to take care of the earth and an eco-friendly stroller is a great start!

We spent the last nine months learning how to convert even the smallest task in our household to a more natural and more often than not organic way of doing things. We live in Niagara Falls, New York and now that the weather has finally broken, we are excited to introduce our baby to this wonder of the world, and take him on all the pathways to the Niagara Gorge that mommy and daddy are already familiar with. The bumbleride Indie will be perfect for those pathways and to take the baby down to the 2nd most powerful waterfall in the world.

We have the Bumbleride Flight, which we do love, but we are always trekking across grass, gravel, and snow. I also try and buy anything made from easily renewable resources, like bamboo. I am big into recycling, so who knows…a part of that stoller could have already been in my home :)
We also have our first vacation planned and I can not think of anything more exciting than to have a new awesome stroller to travel with. I can picture the Indie in the airport, on the beach, the San Diego Zoo, shopping and maybe even to Disney Land!! The Indie Natural Edition sounds like the perfect addition to our family. I have just had another baby and am needing another stroller. My two older children are always fighting over who gets to sit in the comfy stroller. My husband and I are fighting over who gets to push the good stroller on our walks/jogs. We are looking at purchasing the Indie in the very near future, but it would be awesome to win one instead! We are a eco-friendly household and it is important to us to use as many eco-friendly products as possible. We have yet to buy a stroller as we have been waiting on this line to be available. We love to take our daughter on walks and hikes with us, but up till now we have been using a carrier. Lucy is now 14 months old and it has become difficult to carry her for such long periods. Now that I’m a mom also and have longevity to think about with the baby gear I buy and perhaps different genders of my children using the stroller at some point down the road, I was completely sold on the natural fabrics they have in the ocean and walnut colors; this doesn’t mean my husband has been though, so please pick me, pick me! I sooooo want this stroller!!

I am looking forward to taking lots of walks (and later runs) with baby and would like a stroller that he will be comfortable in as a newborn and a toddler. It is important to us to use as many natural and organic products as possible, something that is especially important with a baby. In addition to minimizing our baby’s exposure to chemicals, we strive to minimize our ecological footprint (e.g., one stroller that can do it all instead of multiple strollers, walking instead of driving, etc.) and support environmentally-friendly manufacturing. This stroller looks like it would do a great job of handling various terrain that we encounter between the snow, and dirt and gravel walking trails. It is the only stroller on the market that is good for all-terrain, lightweight, easy to fold, great for newborns, can be used as a travel system with all the bells and whistles—and is cute as heck. Well the Bumbleride Indie Natural Edition is the stroller for us!
When I first saw the Indie Lava at Babinski Baby I fell in love! The very first thing I noticed was the incredibly comfortable look and the amazing recline option. I wish I could be a baby in this thing. I also noticed the great basket underneath for anything I would need to take with us on our outings.
As far as structure goes, I love how compact this strollers folds down as well as the adjustable handle bar for the short moms such as myself. :)
The fabric is also soft and has such a sleek look. I can only imagine the compliments I will get when using the Indie.
The Indie also has an incredibly smooth ride and is so easy to push and maneuver around. (I took it for a test in the store) The swiveling front wheel was a HUGE plus for me!And now that you have come out with the natural edition- I don’t think moms could be happier. The extra soft fabric and preventing bacteria build up are always things we look for. I also love that you use recycled materials. I try to be such an eco friendly mother and person. Also I have found out I now have a bad thyroid disease/problem and have to go see an endocrinologist to find the best course of treatment. I am losing my hair, and having all kinds of side effects including excessive weight gain. (Another reason I would love your stroller, so that i can try to fight the side effects of this disease and. Your company will help me with that.) This could possibly be cancer or a tumor on my pituitary gland in my brain. Treatment is going to be incredibly expensive and money has already been tight being a single mom with a husband not paying child support. I am going to have to save for a while to be able to afford one of these strollers.
I have never won anything in my life and this would be the best thing in the world! I really am hoping you guys pick me as your winner. I would treasure it forever.

Have you ever seen someone push a double stroller with only one child in it? Thats me! It is really hard to steer because the weight is all on one side. I love that it is made from recycled materials and naturally inhibits bacterial growth.

Please choose my mommy to win this neat stroller, I would love to be able to go with mommy to the park or jogging without my baby sister, I like her and all but I want alone time too. Since sissy was born mommy has lost a lot of weight but still has a little left to go. This would make her really happy. I like to go all around and see everything there is to see. Not only does it have everything I would want in a stroller. But it still keeps to the comfort and coziness that my son will need as he grows. I live in Long Beach where the moms are in awww of not just your purse but we love to scope out the newest and best items for our babies. I have to say this Natural Stroller is top on my list. I love Bumbleride but the Natural Edition in the Beautiful Ocean color is my Favorite!

We have experienced a lot of pain and heart ache along the road but are so excited to finally be pregnant through IVF. Our miracle baby will cherish every moment in this stroller. We promise to show he or she the world in it! We’ll take them to the beach, to the parks, long walks, and walks along the rivers to enjoy nature.
