Vintage street sign furniture for the avid up-cycler
Ever wonder where old street signage goes after it has passed its time? Some of it goes into handcrafted furniture from Boris Bally, an artist that aims to blend industrial design with sustainability in his one-of-a-kind furniture creations.
You might have seen old street signs proudly displayed on dorm room walls, but none quite like this. Boris Bally creates furniture pieces of art from re-used traffic signs, champagne corks, and hardware ready for a modern or rustic space. His pieces are all hand fabricated, pierced, brake-formed and finished — a technique he calls Humanfactured.
Boris Bally’s raw American street aesthetic in his industrial furniture captures the eclectic sentiment behind the bright signage. It is truly a statement for sustainability–and a cool piece of recycled art as well.
