They’re just sweet…I have a few Matryoshka dolls around the house — being of Eastern European descent and with family that travels to Russia occasionally, it’s a gift that I never mind getting!

I was born in Former Soviet Union & left before it fell apart w/ my parents post Chernoby catastrophe & in search of freedoms & opportunities we didn’t have the luxury of there. This brings back my original homeland & childhood & combines it w/ ergonomics & modern design! It will add to my collection goda wooden Matrioshka’s that I treasure as art decorations & will add use & fun & entertainment to my home & one day cooking w/ son – ofcourse – only if I get chosen to win!!! I’m not the usual successful Russian child – I have been through many hard situations & recently one of those – left me making hardest decision ever! I’m not super young anymore – but very proud to have honestly, responsibly resolved the scary situation & stood up for an innocent being post being used to get back @ someone bad fortunes. I’m now mom to a son who turns 8 months tonight:-). Sadly he got sick yesterday, but overall we are managing. I would actually want to win this for him & to have it be an item passed on generation to (hopefully) generation! I’m lucky to have America as my adopted home, but this can become a little token that helps my son remember what culture from our country’s melting pot he belongs to:-)! Thank you for such college chance :-)!
