Need a Stroller? Big Stroller Sales, But Hurry!
If you’re in the market for a new stroller, now may be the time to make your purchase. Why? Because some of the biggest stroller brands — the most desirable, talked-about strollers — are now up to $250 off.
The only catch:
These strollers are on sale at two of the biggest online sale sites — Gilt Groupe and Zulily — which means there’s an expiration date to these sales. Not only that, but the sales are on a first-come, first-serve basis, meaning that the sales can sell out fast.
First up, Gilt Groupe is selling Maclaren single and double strollers for $100 – $250 less than their retail value. So if you’ve ever wanted to own a Maclaren, now is your chance:
The Maclaren Twin Triumph Buggy — one of our very favorite double strollers — is now $165 instead of the usual $265.
Gilt Groupe has a couple of Maclaren Techno XLR Buggies on sale for $216 – $220 instead of the usual $360 that it retails for. You can read more about the Maclaren Techno XLR here.
As for the big-ticket item, this Maclaren Carbon Fiber Leather Buggy — normally a whopping $750 — is now on sale for $500 at Gilt Groupe. Sure it’s still a pricey purchase, but you won’t find it for $500 again.
You’ll also find a variety of Maclaren stroller liners for $13 (originally $25). And besides strollers, Gilt Groupe has a slew of other “baby essentials” on sale along with the strollers — so it’s worth checking out!
Important note about Gilt Groupe sales: Gilt Groupe gives Babble readers instant access by clicking this link, but you will still have to sign up for the site. The instant access means that you won’t be wait-listed to be a member. After you sign up, you’ll find the Maclaren stroller sale under Gilt Children, Baby Essentials. The sale ends on Jan. 28 at 12 noon E.T.

Over at Zulily.com — another amazing members-only sale site — the popular Joovy Kooper is on sale for $119 instead of the original $200 price tag. We recently tested the Kooper in our Best Strollers for 2011 round-up, and we thought it was an excellent lightweight option. Read more about the Joovy Kooper here.
This Joovy stroller sale ends on January 26 at 6 a.m. PST.
Again, we highly recommend signing up for Zulily.com — not only for this sale, but for the amazing daily discounts on some of the most wanted products for mom and baby.

Pam commented on Jan 29 11 at 5:57 pmEver since Gilt added it’s children section I’ve been able to get tons of great stuff for my kids. I don’t always buy designer clothes for them since they’ll grow out of whatever I buy quickly, but sometimes it’s nice to splurge.
The waitlist can be a bit annoying, but you can bypass it by using a personal invitation link, like mine:
Meg commented on Feb 10 11 at 8:08 pmIf anyone needs an invite to Gilt Groupe I can let you use my link. I should have enough invites left for anyone that reads this. I’ve given away as many as I can to friends, better to use what’s left than just let them sit there.
