Yay for Big Earrings!
I’m a fan a big earrings. I don’t wear them that often, but I love them when I see them and am always tempted to buy a pair. I think my big earring fancy comes from the days when I wore my hair super cropped. Big earrings look so good with super short hair! Or with updos. Or pretty much anytime. I really should wear them more often because they make me smile.
I happened upon a new etsy shop, Creairtive, and the big earrings were the first things to catch my eye. See more of my favorites below.
Question: When your babies/toddler are at their grabby stage, do you change the jewelry you wear? Or do you just try to keep their hands away?

Kristin commented on Jan 01 11 at 3:17 amOh, I most definitely changed the jewelry I wore when my kids were babies. One too many tugs on my earrings (and a very sore ear) turned me on to stud earrings, and my more delicate necklaces went by the wayside, especially if I knew that I’d be sitting with a baby on my lap for a long period of time (e.g. church). However, I also learned that chunky costume jewelry and scarves are fantastic fun to play with!

Melissa commented on Jan 02 11 at 4:11 amI wear my heavier earrings on occasion, even though my baby is now a year and a half. I just try my best to keep her hands away :) She’s grabby though, and likes shiny things just like her mommy; so that means that there have been a few times where she’s grabbed hold, and my ears have paid for it…Ah-such is life :)
