Forgotten Cartoon Characters from the 90s
As I mentioned before, some of my best memories are from the great cartoons of the 90s. And it’s not just the shows and simple plot lines that we fell in love with, but the actual characters. And while you’re searching for the perfect cartoon picture for your facebook profile, don’t forget about these beloved cartoon characters from the 90s that you might have overlooked:
I have to admit I wasn’t a fan of the show, but she was both tough and rather stunning for a cartoon character, no?
Lucky
Lucky was undoubtedly the very best of the 101 Dalmation bunch.
Bubbles
Sure the show was a little annoying, but Bubbles was definitely the cutest.
Sonic the Hedgehog
Did you know that Steve Urkel was the voice of Sonic the Hedghog? Almost as mind-blowing as…wait for it…
Shredder
…Uncle Phil from The Fresh Prince of Bel-Air was the voice of Shredder. Talk about a 90s trivia gold mine.
Daria
She was dark and edgy with her combat boots and biting sarcastic comments. The perfect cartoon character for the 90s.
Quail Man
Doug Funnie was cute in his sweet ways — always pining for the totally overrated Patty Mayonaise — but we much preferred his Quail Man alter-ego.
Susie
While Angelica stole the spotlight with her snotty, spoiled attitude, it was the sweet, lovable Suzie that we would have totally hanged with in play group.
Carmen San Diego
She was one hard lady to catch.
The Beets
Undoubtedly the best cartoon band ever. Another great reason to watch Doug, other than Quail Man.
