This Plate Proves You Are Special
Do you have a You Are Special Today tradition? When I was growing up, my mom kept a red ceramic “You Are Special Today” plate hanging on the kitchen wall. If it was our birthday or we had accomplished something great — maybe we earned straight A’s or we won the baseball championship — we were lucky enough to eat our dinner on the coveted red plate.
Rosanna sells a more fanciful, whimsical version of You Are Special ceramics here. The plate and mug sell together for $30.
This would make a sweet gift. You could include a sharpie marker and the lucky owner could record all the special days on the back of the plate.
