Now This Is What We Call A Nightlight!

abc2010 boon glow 225x300 Now This Is What We Call A Nightlight!Children’s product makers Boon always bring cool stuff to ABC, and this year was no exception. And the most exciting, brand new thing they were showing this year is their night light called Glo.

Glo uses multicolored LED lights to illuminate three different plastic balls. But unlike other lamps these balls are removable and coated with a glow-in-the-dark phosphorescent coating. There isn’t anything electronic about them, and to hold them they kind of feel like big ping pong balls. The idea is kids can bring them to bed with them or play with them at night for a little extra comfort in bed.

The lamp itself is touch sensitive and the cool LED lights can be set to any color you want, or you can set it to cycle through all the colors automatically. And don’t worry – they plan to have a replacement program for the balls in case your young ones “misplace” any it them.

Glow from Boon should be available by the end of Q1 2011 and will retail for $84.99. Check it out at BoonInc.com. –Chris Ford
