Eric Carle Fan? There’s an App for That.
It’s called My Very First App and it’s based on Eric Carle’s best-selling My Very First Books. The games are fun, interactive, and educational. And because they feature Eric Carle’s artwork, they’re pretty to look at and feel familiar to children who already love Eric Carle’s books. Brown Bear, Brown Bear. The Very Hungry Caterpillar. Pretty much everything Eric Carle produces is beloved by children across the world. No doubt this app will be too.
My Very First App is available for both the iPhone and iPad. Find prices, details and upgrades after the jump.
The app has gently increasing stages of difficulty, so it will grow along with your child. The app starts with Colors, and when you’re ready to expand the app, Numbers, Shapes, Food, and Animal Sounds are available as in-app purchases for 99 cents each. Later this year Words, Motion, and Animal Homes will be added to the in-app purchase section as well.
My Very First App was made by Night & Day Studios, the creators of the beloved toddler apps Peekaboo Barn and Peekaboo Wild. They have been fans of Eric Carle since they were kids, and were honored to work on this project with Chorion and the Eric Carle Studio.
