Mid Century Picture Books
M. Sasek was an illustrator best known as the author of the This is series of children’s books. The Czech artist is behind the mid century style illustrations in these children’s classics.
Starting with This is Paris published in 1958, he wrote and painted picture books about several major cities all over the world. The best part is
the books have now been reissued and are available online and at most book stores.
