Handmade Baubles Any Mom Would Love
I just came across the most gorgeous jewelry pieces by Nicola Yoon Design, and had to share. In the same spirit as all of the farmer’s markets and local shops are promoting organic food, Yoon started her jewelry line to get “organic jewelry,” out there. She explains on her site that part of the inspiration for her product was to counteract the mass amount of mass produced jewelry “using cheap ingredients and materials.”
Yoon uses stunning gemstones and crystals to put together some of the most unique necklaces, earrings, and bracelets we’ve seen–I go especially weak in the knees for the necklaces though. The asymmetry, color combinations, and interesting shapes present in her pieces make for eye-catching and super-special jewelry–handmade, nonetheless.
