Replacing cloth and plastic in consumer goods, apparently.

We’ve all seen the super shiny, sometimes amateur-looking dresses and bags that people claim to make out of duct tape — which, I mean, are cool in that you spent how much time doing that? way, but not totally wearable.

Well allow me to forever change your mind about how you look at the standard home-ware staple with these incredible (and incredibly useful!) Etsy products made exclusively out of duct tape:

The rather large collection of wallets from jDUCT shows incredible craftsmanship in a product that can actually be used every day. Let’s be clear: These are made from 100% duct tape. And when i say 100%, I mean no cardboard, plastic, leather or cloth.

Probably the coolest designer knock-offs ever because — no they weren’t bought on Manhattan’s Canal Street — they’re actually made of duct tape. Excuse me, duct tape that’s been sewn together by the Etsy shop owner of Duct Tuff. And the thing about these wallets (all of the ones featured) is that they’re actually practical and usable, without any sticky annoyances.

Have you ever made anything cool out of duct tape?
