The Perfect Display for Baby’s First Outfit
I can’t say I’m particularly sentimental, but I have at least one outfit saved from each of my children’s babyhoods. When my first daughter was born, my mother gave me the dress I was “blessed” in (blessing is similar to christening at my church). I was so delighted she had saved it! And even more delighted it was in great shape. In fact, I dressed my daughter in that very dress for her own blessing. At some point, I decided it was too charming to pack away, so I hung the dress near the crib instead — as part of the nursery decor.
When I saw these heirloom hangers from Julian & Co., I thought they would make the perfect thing to hang baby’s first outfit from. Hand-crafted from maple and sterling silver, they can even be personalized with two lines of text. Wouldn’t they made a unique gift?
You can see a detail of the silver oval after the jump.
What about you? Did you save your baby’s wardrobe or did you send items out the door as soon as they were outgrown?
