Designer Animal Crackers: Lilly Pulitzer Edition!
Two American iconic brands have come together to celebrate, honor and raise money for one very mighty and majestic beast. Designer clothing company Lilly Pulitzer has partnered with Barnum’s Animal Crackers to create a special limited edition Pulitzer printed animal cracker box to raise awareness and money for the World Wildlife Fund and their efforts regarding worldwide tiger conservation – and timely effort since this is “The Year of the Tiger”…
Nabisco, the makers of the classic cookie, will be giving $100,000 to the WWF as part of the promotion. As for the boxes, they feature classic Lilly Pulitzer bright hues with colorful renderings of Lions, tigers, monkeys and the like. They created a million of these special edition boxes and they’re being distributed all around the country. I picked up mine from my local Safeway for $1.69 a box. But sharing the classic cookies with my little four-year-old – the first time she’s ever had them I might add – well that was priceless.
