Who Wants a Fluf Lunch Bag? I Do, I Do!
I’ve long admired Fluf lunch bags; obsessed with them is the better term. With their whimsical designs and quirky art pedigree with designs from New York City-Based, celebrity artist Matthew Langille, it’s always a good sign when I want something for myself as much as for my son.
Fluf Lunch Bags offer the best of both worlds. They’ve got all the cache of a “grown up” lunch bag with none of the waste. And with all the waste caused by disposable baggies, it’s really a no-brainer. The good news is that the company has just introduced three new styles by artist Nina Jones of Jonesy (available for pre-order) to their already drool-worthy lineup of cool baggies.
A seriously cool giveaway and a special preview of the 3 new bags after the click…
Created by two savvy women out of Toronto, the Fluf cloth lunch bags are made using the highest standards with 100% certified organic cotton and a removable EVA (PVC free) liner. All that sunstainability and eco-liciousness. I guess they’re working off the premise that if looks good, it will taste good. Hopefully, the kids will feel the same way about that veggie burger you packed.
>>WIN IT! Tell us your most creative kids lunch that you’ve packed to date and you could win one of the three new styles!

How to Stay Sane and Stylish on the Road with Family | Family Style commented on Jul 29 10 at 6:05 amRebecca commented on Jul 22 10 at 9:46 amThese reusable, eco-friendly bags are great! Love the concept! I guess if I had to choose a favorite, I would have to say I love adore the Doggy Bag fluf bag! I will say that I simply enjoy them all! :)
Andrea commented on Jul 22 10 at 9:52 amMy little girl hasn’t needed to take a lunch until this year, so I haven’t had to actually “pack” a lunch, but this morning I made waffle sandwiches. Put the syrup IN BETWEEN and pick it up and eat for a different take on waffles! :o) Throw in some watermelon on the side and voila! Easy peasy! But my daughter would love the doggy bag! Heck, they are all supercute!
Carrie commented on Jul 22 10 at 10:01 amThe doggy bag is adorable!
Marcie commented on Jul 22 10 at 10:05 amI love to pack a “cocktail” hour lunch, complete with veggie sticks and hummus, fruit and cheese and chicken fingers (the happy hour staple!). Kids love it!
Tara commented on Jul 22 10 at 10:07 amWell, my son is just about 11 months old, so nothing that creative yet. However, I’m looking forward to getting my creativity flowing once he is a little older. :-)
Beth commented on Jul 22 10 at 10:11 amI love a bento box theme, I make the kids faux California rolls by wrapping mayo, celery, carrot, avocado and crab into a tortilla and then slicing into rolls. I always include a little cup of rice on the side and a fortune cookie, it’s a winner for sure!

Tiffany commented on Jul 22 10 at 10:33 amThe kids always love pizza day – I pack thin bagels, veggies, cheese and a container of tomato sauce, and they get to concoct their own pizzas at lunch. So fun (and they’ll usually eat their veggies if they make their own pizzas)! Now I’ve got to find the tutu lunch bag for my 8 year old – she’d love it to pieces! :)
maureen commented on Jul 22 10 at 10:44 ammy little one eats more friuts and veggies than almost any little one I know. He loves it when I make veggie faces on top of his oatmeal pancakes. yup – he eats cold pancakes for lunch sometimes :)
peggy commented on Jul 22 10 at 11:05 amstuffed pitta pockets with tuna, corn and watercress
chunks of watermelon
and some sticks with ham and cheesenobody minds if the lunch is not finished :)
Shu commented on Jul 22 10 at 11:37 amWould love to put bento boxes full of rice, meat, veggies, & fruit into these cute lunch bags! (I’ve only done sandwiches so far…)
Anne commented on Jul 22 10 at 12:31 pmI’m not particularly creative, esp when it comes to the kids’ meals. But the other day I did make one of Mark Bittman’s salads with blueberries, mint, and shredded carrot. (only I used storebought matchstick carrots so I shoudl probably not attach Mr. Bittman’s name to it. ;-))
I love all these comments, I’ll have to check back for more ideas!
Heather commented on Jul 22 10 at 12:35 pmI try to make lunches interesting… When I send a sandwich, it’s always a fun shape made with large cookie cutters – star, flower, bear, etc – which makes even a plain ham sandwich exciting (at least for a 6-year old)!
These bags are adorable – I know my daughter would love these :)
rach commented on Jul 22 10 at 12:43 pmHomemade lunchabales I cube up cheese and meat and the pack honey mustard and crackers. he makes his own sandwiches.
helenlam commented on Jul 22 10 at 1:22 pmI love the doggy bag. I like to do bento lunches on occasion as it’s a treat seeing everything cute and organized
shar commented on Jul 22 10 at 1:45 pmwell I do shaped sandwiches by using small cookie cutters, several shapes per sandwich, also pack hummus and pita, cherry tomatoes and “dip” which is a yogurt dressing and a nice fruit salad..
Carole commented on Jul 22 10 at 2:05 pmMy daughter liked a hard-boiled egg in her lunch box, along with a PB&J sandwich and a fruit cup. So I would always write an “I Love You” or “Have A Great Day” or a one-liner (groaner:-) joke on the eggshell or sometimes just decorate it with a small sticker. On the days I didn’t send a hard-boiled egg, I would include a cute little note or a sticker on her sandwich wrap so that she would know I was thinking of her.
Now it’s the granddaughter’s school lunch that we are packing. She does not like eggs of any sort and cannot even stand the smell of PB, let alone eat it. She does like the very thinly sliced Hillshire Farms ham and also turkey. To make that more interesting we sometimes make ham or turkey roll-ups by taking the individual pieces of meat, straightening them out, and then rolling them up. When fixing them for her to eat at home we pin the rolls with festive toothpicks – BUT we don’t use toothpicks when we are making them for her school lunch.
These lunch bags are really cute. I’m sure that my granddaughter would be very excited to have one. Thank you for the chance!
Pamela commented on Jul 22 10 at 2:07 pmOne of the most creative lunches was when I packed a Rice Krispie note. I made rice krispie squares and then I wrote an I love you message with icing on the top….My son loved it and still talks about it to this day…
kimberly commented on Jul 22 10 at 3:02 pmMy daughter is nearly two and I’ve been a stay at home mom for most of her life. Only recently have I started working and so making a lunch for her to take when she goes on her “trips” with Daddy has become a morning ritual for me. She usually gets a container of crackers, a probiotic yogurt drink, a veggie and a protein source.
Denise commented on Jul 22 10 at 8:52 pmDS insists on the exact same items every day so my only creativeness is the Lunch always has to be exactly the same so I can only have fun with the shape of his turkey sandwich and to throw in gummi worms on it (but he wasn’t amused).
Shannon Maida commented on Jul 23 10 at 7:12 amSince it is summer, I have time to be a little more creative when packing our lunches- for our little park and beach picnics, of course! My 20-month old adores the recipes from the Annabel Karmel book “First Foods”, so we end up making and taking a lot of those great recipes. My daughter’s favorite to date has been the chicken sausage snails. Super cute and she loves to look at the colors and swirls as she eats it. And, of course, lots of fruit that has been cut up into fun shapes using mini cookie cutters.
Kristinia commented on Jul 23 10 at 9:10 amI always pack my toddler a lunch that includes a healthy sandwich, snack, fruit (he loves watermelon) I usually cut up the fruit with small cookie cutters or melon balls too, juice/milk, and a story, He loves reading (“pretending”) while he’s eating, like Mommy does. I’m usually reading the paper or a magazine at lunch!
Crystal commented on Jul 23 10 at 10:14 amMy most creative lunch for my 3 yo was a turkey-swiss roll-up with a bit of hummus and tomato (she picked out the lettuce), a little fruit salad on the side, and some of those fluffed baked snap-peas. Her most creative lunch, though? She likes to help so she shredded some cheddar cheese, added shredded apple and shredded carrot. It was her original slaw! On the side, she packed a graham cracker.
helenlam commented on Jul 23 10 at 1:07 pmI like the doggy bag! I love packing lunches in bento boxes. It ends up being cute and compact. Presentation always helps in trying to get all of the lunch finished!
Faith commented on Jul 23 10 at 1:10 pmA three year old with food allergies doesn’t leave much room for creativity, but cutting his peanut butter sandwiches into cars and dinosaurs makes the same sandwich seem much more interesting!
Erin commented on Jul 23 10 at 1:42 pmLove these! We’re big on roll-ups around here. Practically anything can be put in a tortilla or a flatbread and rolled up. My 2nd grader loves these for lunch because they’re easy to eat, even on the go. His favorite fillings include veggie wraps with cream cheese, sprouts, tomatoes, sunflower seeds, and cucumbers, and chicken Caesar salad wrap.
simone commented on Jul 23 10 at 4:57 pmMy son is only 2, so no lunches yet, but he loves bean and cheese roll-ups so we will be making lots of those for lunch!
abcegc commented on Jul 24 10 at 12:45 amLove the doggy bag design. My most creative kids lunch that I’ve packed to date would have to be top ramen noodles. I cook them, take them out of the soup, and just pack the noodles into a tupperware. Add some spam and I’m done.
kimberly commented on Feb 10 11 at 3:11 pmI like this lunch bag. I found another great one at mommywholesale.com website. It’s a good one and affordable.
